CR Land Health and Safety Policy
1 Purpose
1.1 China Resources Land Limited (“CR Land” or the “Company”) attaches great importance to the safety and health of its employees in the workplace. This policy is formulated and issued to provide all necessary safeguards in compliance with occupational health and safety standards for stakeholders, including employees, customers, suppliers, partners, communities, etc. by continuously improving working conditions, implementing risk prevention and health promotion measures. These ensures effective management and reduce health and safety risks in business operation.
1.2 This Policy is applicable to CR Land, its seven major regions and business departments and specialized companies, and all business partners, including partners, associated companies, contractors and suppliers, are encouraged to comply with this Policy.
2 Contents
2.1 Strictly comply with national and regional laws, guidelines and regulations on health and safety, such as the Law of the People's Republic of China on Work Safety, the Law of the People's Republic of China on Prevention and Control of Occupational Diseases, and the Fire Control Law of the People's Republic of China.
2.2 Ensure that necessary resources, including financial and human input, are available to establish, implement, maintain and improve the health and safety policy to effectively implement this policy.
2.3 Conduct effective health and safety management; establish a sound EHS management system, identify and control business safety risks and hazards with scientific management systems and methods, and implement review and monitoring on a regular basis.
2.4 Formulate the List of Project Company Statutory Safety Accountability, the Management List of Safe and Civilized Construction Measures Fee and the Safety Supervision List of Stakeholders as project safety management manuals; actively carry out third-party EHS flight inspections, and promote the certification of health and safety management systems for primary-level units to build a firm foundation for workplace safety.
2.5 Improve the emergency management system to ensure that the contingency plan is more scientific, targeted and effective; enhance the ability to cope with risks and accidents; establish a dedicated organization of CR Land and define roles and requirements of competent departments at headquarters for emergency disposal and emergency response; actively organize various types of emergency drills in conditions concerning fire, fall from height, electric shock, pit collapse, extreme weather, special periods to maximize control and reduce the occurrence of accidents.
2.6 Develop health and safety key performance indicators and set quantitative targets for improving occupational health and safety performance to effectively prevent workplace accidents and to continuously monitor and improve health and safety performance.
2.7 Create a safe, healthy and enabling working environment; actively prevent work-related accidents or diseases, conduct regular occupational health inspections, and take necessary hygiene measures to prevent the effect of raw materials, gases, steam, high temperature and noise on health.
2.8 Organize regular health and safety training for employees and other stakeholders such as contractors to ensure that all employees and contractors are physically and mentally healthy and safe, and are equipped with skills, knowledge and resources to safely perform all operational activities.
