On June 29, CR Land released its 2017 Sustainability Report (Chinese and English) in Hong Kong Stock Exchange, which systematically disclosed CR Land’s performance of responsibilities in 2017 from three dimensions: economic performance, environmental performance and social performance. This is the fifth consecutive year that CR Land released a sustainability report, which was reviewed by Expert Committee of Social Responsibility Center under Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and once again received a five-star rating.

The 2017 Sustainability Report of CR Land is compiled based on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Reporting Guidelines of Hong Kong Stock Exchange, Chinese Corporate Social Responsibility Reporting Guidelines of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences, UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) Corporate Action Guidelines and China Resources Group Social Responsibility Management Measures, revealing the business characteristics and responsibility performance highlights of CR Land from various angles.

The report consists of six main chapters with “Building Dreams” as the main line, and displays practices of performing responsibilities in operation and management, product quality, guarantee of employee rights and interests, responsible procurement, green construction and charity comprehensively and multi-dimensionally through “Dream of Value, Dream of Perfect Products, Dream of Humanity, Dream of Win-Wins, Dream of Green, Dream of Harmony”, echoing the theme of “building dreams in a new era” and responding to the expectations of various stakeholders in the meantime.

In terms of presentation methods, the report sets up a special part for “Focus on Major Events of 2017”, which focuses on the company’s major events in performing responsibilities, and reveals the highlights of practice. The six chapters all have “Chapter Overview” sections to present how CR Land has responded to key sustainable development issues, SDGs issues and UN Sustainable Development Goals actively, reflecting the international vision of CR Land. The content of each chapter is embedded with “Responsibility Story” and “Knowledge Tips”, which improves the legibility and interest of the report; and the overall design is simple and fresh, also enhancing the readability and innovation.

In addition, CR Land continued to use the report compiling process as an important means of reviewing its own responsibility performance and communicating with stakeholders, actively participated in questionnaire surveys by Global Real Estate Sustainability Index (GRESB) and Hang Seng Sustainability Index, and accomplished comprehensive and quantitative disclosure of the responsibility performance information of all regions and business divisions under the leadership of headquarters.
