China Resources Group Signs Strategic Cooperation Agreement with Dongguan Municipal Government

At the Industrial Investment Conference hosted by Dongguan Municipal People’s Government on June 21, China Resources Group and CR Land signed cooperation agreements with Dongguan Municipal Government and Dongguan Binhaiwan New District Administration Committee. Local leaders including Dongguan Municipal Party Secretary Liang Weidong, Mayor Xiao Yafei, Executive Vice Mayor Bai Tao, and relevant leaders from CR Land attended the conference.

According to the agreement, the two parties, in accordance with the principle of “advantage complementarity, mutual support, long-term cooperation and common development”, will give full play to the diversified business strength of CR, and jointly promote urban construction and operation, comprehensive development, financial services, medical health, commercial and retail business of CR in Dongguan. Taking Shajiao Peninsula of Binhaiwan New District as the cooperation scope, the two parties will jointly carry out development, operation and management of urban redevelopment projects, and build Shajiao Peninsula into a strategic functional zone and coordinated development demonstration zone in the Pearl River Delta, as well as an international coastal new town, thus promoting the development of modern industry and service industry in Dongguan.

Dongguan Binhaiwan New District Administration Committee and CR Land will build an overall cooperative structure in line with the principle of “basing on the present and taking long-term development into account”, and focus on the development and construction of Shajiao Peninsula Binhaiwan Station TOD and the surrounding area (about 10 square kilometers).
